DanielkgParticipantI spoke with O2 yesterday. They called me as I use the O2 my nerwork app analog that there are faults – thus should be done by all O2 customers in Wrexham I feel.
The lady could see that there is high usage on the masts that is affecting the data and has been the case since March 2013.
She has raised it for engineers to prioritise it and investigate how they can improve service.
She confirmed this by txt to me; “Hi, the network fault reference number is: 9754851, Many Thanks, O2”
DanielkgParticipantYep the signs are there – closures of the A483 will be between 10pm and 5am – I have contacted the Highways Agency to request a schedule of works and their planned diversion routes.

Couldn’t/Didn’t see anything about over night closures on the signs this morning. I did notice a camera has been set up on the flyover between the Llay turn off and the Post House end. Maybe to monitor traffic?
Bizarre – the signs have been there a few days now – driving that way in half an hour; will check as the signs are huge – mind you if you’re getting on the by-pass from the Rossett turn off then there are no signs after there until you reach the roundabout
DanielkgParticipantIt’s going to make many commutes fun – there are a few alternative routes (longer) but I can imagine that they too will become busy and cause delays – Best warn work we’ll be late…
DanielkgParticipantWell the signs warning us are up already; 15th September let the queues & nightmares begin
DanielkgParticipantThe new Iceland will be called Food Warehouse – different to the style we know already. It will be a concept store selling various additional lines;
Iceland to launch new Food Warehouse discount store | News | The GrocerIceland is planning a new discounter format, launching a new concept store on 2 September in Stoke-on-Trent offering exotic products including kangaroo steaks, crocodile burgers and shark steaks, and premium foods like whole salmon.
The new store, called The Food Warehouse, will also offer items by the caseload, including 5kg sacks of petfood, 10-litre bottles of cooking oils and other bulky wholesale-style packs, alongside the standard Iceland range.
The first store will open on the site of a former Comet in Trent Vale and three more are tipped to follow, in Wrexham, Cardiff, and on the Old Kent Road in London.
DanielkgParticipantStick a sign up. If that doesn’t work get some cones
DanielkgParticipantLogic is that Malcolm walker sees Heron Foods (formerly CoolTrader) as competition – How often is Iceland busy? I can’t say I’ve been in there more than twice in the last 5 years.
Word is that Ieland are trying to get “free parking for customers”. Goodness knows how this’ll work
DanielkgParticipantYeah it’s been available for new tenants for some time. Don’t think it’s a prime location in the corner there; can’t remember the last time I actually went inside!
