I think when people refer to wrexham as a market town they mean the size and general feel of the town rather than the fact it actually has a market or not.

Personally I think wrexham could have retained the small town “feeling” and still expanded if it was better planned, as it stands it just smacks of badly planned disjointed ideas thrown together. Badly.

I used to occasionally work at R R Donnelley at flaxby moor where they print the yellow pages, and the reduction in size was all to do with the move away to online (yellow pages online as well as Google/other search engines taking business away ), as well as a move from the old large format yellow pages to the smaller format about 3-4 years ago.

Works ok on iPad, doesn’t seem to display correctly on my iPhone (some links missing).

The background is too bright and is quite straining on the eyes, similar complaints have been directed at the new bbc website too.

Poor Maureen, do you know where she was taken? Perhaps we could organise a whip round and send her the bus fare home.

PS I think you got the the last bit wrong.

It should read “Forgotten but not gone”

I’ll do it as long as it doesn’t involve actually doing anything. I quite like the title “Champion”. I’m hoping to get promoted to “Tsar” later on this year!

I was going to say we shared the same viewpoint but Maureen being a cunning linguist has nailed it.

Build, build, build I say, it will be a good thing for Wrexham! Residents of Llay get over it.

If it’s going to be such a good thing for wrexham, build them in wrexham then?
