Queue started in Gwersyllt this morning for Grosvenor rd. Came out of Asda 2pm and queue started at the roundabout. Took 20 minutes to reach the fire station. Bloody ridiculous!!!! The costs in fuel and pollution must be horrendous.

“G4S are a legitimate security establishment”

Then they should mark their vehicles clearly as a private security vehicle and not have a fake police badge.

Some cyclists and horse riders have been cautioned by Police Officers for wearing high visibility clothing designed to mimic a Police design. They were warned they could be committing a criminal offence.

The Twizy may well cost £1 for a recharge that will take you 60 miles but you forgot to mention battery lease costs.
6,000 miles per year works out at £54 per month.

The problem is most people to see these vehicles concluded they were Police. If I decorated my car in the same fashion, do you think NW Police would allow it?

They are G4S security. Nothing to do with the Police. There are 2 vehicles in Wrexham. They have the council logo in the star. How they get away with mimicking Police is beyond me.

£1.8 million apparently but doesn’t mention ambulance or fire proposals.

How much is being spent at Croesnewedd? £1.4 million? Not much really wrong there but funds cannot be found to resolve this road. Why? The trial will not last long when Grosvenor road and Mold road become one big carpark at peak times.

“As far as I recall I was told that when that road was first built it was supposed to have traffic light control and one way flow at a time.”

I don’t mean to be pedantic but the road was built before 1860 and cars and traffic lights weren’t a problem then.

As for cycling here, Tremault, just “Take the lane” i.e ride in the centre of your lane and ride swiftly. I have never had any problems. Cars will just have to wait until it is safe to overtake.

Please tell me this is a wind up! This will cause gridlock on Grosvenor road. Why can’t WBC find the funds to build a pedestrian bridge or subway here?
