Don’t forget the FREE car parking in all Council owned Car Parks on Saturday!

I will be going on Saturday but will not be using car parks in Wrexham. Why? Because I don’t drive but I will be doing my bit to keep public transport going by getting the bus.

Yesterday showed the importance of the Small Independent Businesses to Wrexham, there are some ready to step up to a Regent Street ,Hope Street presence but are priced out by unrealistic rents and extortionate business rates. Many of the big names in retail speak of supporting the High Street but still build new stores in out of town locations. The future of our High Street needs action on Business Rates, realistic rents and planners to think carefully before approving retail developments on the edge of town.
