Welsh Government urged to ‘clear out’ Betsi Cadwaladr leaders as report reveals ‘fractured relationships’ are harming progress

This is nothing new, everyone knows the problem, but solving it isn’t going to be quick or easy. As residents living in the area , we all know people who work for BCUHB and often they give the reason for leaving , moving on, retiring or just walking away is the “politics “ of the working environment. When does “politics” become a euphemism for bullying?

So Betsi is back in Special Measures and Independent Members have ‘resigned’, did a resignation actually occur or was this a term to be interpreted as you have been sacked.
The recent Audit Wales report was clearly damning but it actually praised the Independent Members for being a cohesive group and that it was the Executive that were the problem.

The Independent Members it appears had commissioned a number of specialists to exam various parts of the services as they were not satisfied with reports and information provided by the Executives – this appears to be a total lack of trust by all concerned.

It also shows that the Minister has not had a grip on the situation for sometime and lots of false information flying around – she is trying to deflect the opposition criticism by appointing a senior Plaid Cymru Councilor from North Wales to take on the role.
