Fire crews were called to an early morning car fire in Rhos.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident on February 1 at 12:27 am.

One breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets were used to quickly knock back the fire and protect the property adjacent to the vehicle.

In a statement on social media, Johnstown Fire Service said: “The fire was quickly brought under control and as a result there was no damage to the neighbouring property.

“Firefighters in attendance carried out an investigation of nearby properties to ensure both the buildings and occupants were not affected by the blaze.

“A second appliance from Wrexham attended the incident to supplement our water supply.

“Following the incident, safe and well checks were carried out with those effected by the incident and fire safety advice given.

“North Wales Police also attended, however, the cause of the fire was deemed not to be suspicious.”
