And your hobby is looking for someone on a public forum, entitled to their view, or putting forward someone else’s case forward who might not have that medium themselves, and telling them to “give it a rest” & what to do?

High Roller.  Perhaps you can can make a philanthropist-type donation and pay for the poor little waif in question’s ill-gained direct debit?  If not, give it a rest.

The person I’m writing for is UPSET.  Tied to a contract for £39.99 pm he wasn’t explained that he was tied to, mis-guided on a National Gym-group website with false images which have since disappeared….

I’m yet to see  Derren Brown etc make a circular running track advertised on a company’s website, disappear when the punters arrive on Open Day and still charge people for it ‘cos they’re in a contract.

maybe you can flirt £39.99 pm away and give it a rest eh? Lucky boy.

Apologies for replying to my own thread.  In EXCEPTIONAL cases when Total Fitness give a refund…..they charge a £100 ‘Admin charge’? .  Everything’s electronic these days isn’t it?  They must pay a minimum wage to their people in their offices?  If they’re forced to get out of a contract, for RARE cases, like you have a terminal illness, not even moving with work to a country with no venue, they charge you a £100 ‘Admin charge’?

    Google it. :good:

The company lawyers have undoubtedly proofed the contact.   Has the company trained the sales team likewise as a matter of consumer-priority to advertise them that they are entering a 12-month contract?  This should be a priority today surely in a society of ever-increasing litigation?

Before you sign a national company’s contract you should be advised that you are obliged to a 12-mth contract surely?

As for advertising a national-club venue with images of a circular running track on its website, and removing them, and consumers turning up at it’s Open-Weekend & Robbie Savage on a Monday to open the club, and finding no circular running track but a 20m ‘sprint track’ instead isn’t on.

re people working on the Business Park.

I have it on good authority that Redrow have been given the go-ahead to build 1100 new homes and a pub opposite the Business Park. How’s that going to help rush hour traffic!!

The picture above shows the area of great historical importance.
Incredibly, CADW have overlooked this site. Unbelievable really. To demolish this site of historical importance for 2 new houses will be a TRAGEDY. Surely the area can be a feature of any development even? You wouldn’t bulldoze Rossett Mill which is 300-years older and build 2 5-bedroom houses on it?

It will be an absolute disaster if a specific area of this historical 13th Century coaching-house is demolished.
To put things in to perspective, many of us have visited similar buildings from this period and seen exposed ‘Wattle and Daub’ protected by glass/plastic protection etc. The area of importance is undisturbed. We don’t know what is hidden from view. There could be anything. People concealed their wealth during the purges, and often died young due to ‘consumption’ and treasures were lost etc If you reached 35-years of age, you were remarkable.
The unknowing visitor to this marked coaching-house may be forgiven for knowing exactly where the oldest part of the building was. They probably walked through the main entrance, blinked an eye, and missed it. A small alcove, low-beamed ceiling with undisturbed walls.
Incredibly, the building has been overlooked by CADW and the local authority. Hopefully, a successful compromise can be reached with the impending planning application? Incorporate the area of importance withing a new development even?? Surely that can’t be difficult today?
CADW could list the building and halt proceedings swiftly. There’s just one problem. The property is secure. They need evidence. Pictures etc

Surely a small area can be preserved? A compromise reached??

This small area is so important. Intact. No-one knows what’s hidden in the walls. The very fact that the walls are intact reason preservation.

She also frequents the Cambrian. Asking people to buy her a drink until ‘a friend’ turns up with her money.
