    Just read in the Overton Oracle (they have their own monthly paper!) that the gates from the old cemetery down near the woods have been stolen. The cemetery and the gates themselves are a pretty notable part of the village’s history and had been there for decades, it’s sad to see.

    My main worry is the traffic, I get road rage at the best of times and looking at the queues near that place I’ll go spare.

    Do we not already have a Premier Inn on the outskirts of town near Gresford, next door to the Beeches? Not a town centre one I know but seems to do ok.

    The Premier Inn was supposed to be one of the businesses moving in on that land, not sure whether its been sold but it’s certainly an eyesore.

    Definitely try and sample some if you can, I rate it higher than most of the lagers out there. Bit of a stronger/nicer taste to it than the likes of Carlsberg imho.
