Wrexham Swimmers Win Haul Of Medals

A team of young swimmers from Wrexham have won a haul of medals at a recent swimming competition.

The ‘Young Dragons’ from Wrexham Swimming Club travelled to Bangor for the Menai Meet swimming competition.

An impressive 31 personal best times were achieved along with a medal haul which included 9 golds, 8 silvers and 7 bronze.

The medal winners were Sadie Spencer, Max Kaye, Joshua Bennion, Owen Czerniak, Lucy Thomson, Megan Owen, Sam Jackson, Ethan Benton, Geraint Griffiths, Will Clayton and Hollie Marsh.

Head Coach, Craig Prime said: “Well done to all the youngsters for their fantastic efforts throughout the meet and representing the club so professionally. These youngsters are at the start of their competitive swimming careers and their hard work in training is paying off.

“I’m excited to see them continuing to improve and they have a great future in swimming ahead of them.”
