Renewed appeal for witnesses after fatal collision in Brymbo
North Wales Police have issued a renewed appeal for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Wrexham.
Emergency services were called shortly before 10:30pm on Saturday 25 November to a report that a male pedestrian had been found on Heritage Way – also locally known as the Brymbo link road.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services that attended, the pedestrian – a 63-year-old local man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Inspector Leigh Evans of the Roads Crime Unit is urging anybody with information to come forward.
He said: “Our thoughts and sympathies remain with the man’s family at this tragic time.
“We’d like to thank all those who responded to our initial appeal, however I’m urging anybody who may have travelled along that stretch of road between 9:45pm and 10:30pm or anybody who may have dash cam footage, to contact us as soon as possible.”
