The body of a man was found in Acton Park by a member of the public this morning.

Wrexham.com received several reports to our Twitter account of the incident with some suggesting that the body was found by someone walking their dog close to the swings in the children’s playground.

North Wales Police confirmed that they were called by a member of the public at 7.52am this morning and that the body of a man was found hanging in the park.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said:

“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner has been informed.”

He added that police are not appealing for any witnesses in connection with the incident.
