Appeal launched after foal injured by “bladed instrument” in Penycae

An appeal has been launched after a foal was injured by a “bladed instrument.”

The incident took place on the weekend of Friday 8 and Saturday 9 September on land just off Plas Bennion Road, Penycae.

Police from the North Wales Rural Crime Team say that the owners found a wound to the foal’s right shoulder area.

It is believed the injury was caused by a bladed instrument.

Police are now urging anyone who has information which could assist in the investigation to contact North Wales Police via 101 or the online reporting system quoting incident number 23000868592.
