This afternoon I called into St Giles Parish Church to see the flow of poppies in the RWF chapel. First of all, congratulations to those who had the vision to mount the installation, secondly congratulations to all those who have knitted, crocheted and created the poppies and thirdly, I urge you to view the work if you have not already and finally, let’s unite in pride in this simple but oh so appropriate tribute.

This is a wonderful tribute display and really worth going to visit. Well done to all the knitters.

The tribute in St Giles is amazing, many other local churches also have tributes, Coedpoeth and Brymbo to name two. All worth a visit for this historic anniversary.

Well done to the very young man playing the Last Post at the police Rememberance service earlier in the week.
