Brilliant to see Playday return but why have Wrexham Council over the years cut back so much on funding for play and youth in the County Borough. No city centre youth club like there used to be in The Vic no wonder the Police have issues with Anti Social Behaviour. Lack of provision bread discontent but does not stop young people gathering. The spend now is less than a third of what it was 10 years ago without even taking into account inflation.

Guessing the projected £23.8m deficit means that funding won’t be returning any time soon.
