    No planning decisions made between December 24th and December 30th, one application received so the department must have been open.

    It seems a lot of planning apps from mid-December are currently being added. There are definitely ones with validation dates of the 18th and earlier that have appeared in the past few days.

    This seems to have become normal. I don’t think the “Utopia City” plans for the industrial estate that are dated late July didn’t appear on the site until late August.

    It makes the “last week submitted” search completely useless given more can turn up a month later.



    Looks like they are approving everything now no matter what the impact will be to the NHS, roads etc.

    That was certainly the position pre 20th December as the council had no LDP since 2011 . You had to argue a case with your hands tied behind your back as WCBC in their wisdom refused to construct and/or decide an overall plan that would direct such things .
    The frightening position is having been faced with reality they have less than 5 years to do it all over again.
