Would the survival rates for cancer be better if we had a proper UK wide NHS? Is part of the problem the size of Wales and it’s relatively small population. Here in Wrexham we have closer links with Liverpool and Manchester when it comes to health expertise, although often it is not immediately available as an option. Devolution has not been good for our health provision and the future prospects look no better,

How is equipment procured in Wales? Is there a national procurement scheme ( buying in bulk ) or are each health board responsible for their own?

Junior doctors in Wales have been offered 5% pay rise the lowest in uk. Another reason for UK wide NHS. Junior doctors are not going to work in Wales when better pay and conditions are on offer in England. Senedd say they have no money , but continue to spend on vanity projects like the millions spent on 20 mph scheme.

I wonder if any of our esteemed Senedd members would work for £14ph.
Most unlikely and they earn far more with very little skill involved.

So the Senedd is determined to plough on with increasing its membership to 96, whilst publicly saying there is no money to increase the pay of doctors. It is blatantly untrue that there is NO money, there is money but they have chosen to spend on themselves. Welsh Labour continue to prioritise spending on fripperies rather than needs.
