The Miners Institute 6 Grosvenor Road have applied for the change of use of the welfare rooms on the first and second floor to student accommodation . With all the new student accommodation on the Racecourse site is there still a demand for more?

Is this the very same listed property that is owned by Neville Dickens who started knocking it down illegally?

Are there any planning restrictions he’d have to get round to change its use?

No Dickens has had nothing to do with this building. It is the old Miners Institute. It was sold recently, Arlington Hughes Solicitors are on one side and the old Registry office the other.
