If the Senedd increases its membership to 96 , that will equate to one MS for every 36500 people living in Wales. The ratio for constituencies in England as of 2019 election was one MP for every 74000 people. Is the extra financial expenditure warranted , or could the money be better spent on other essential services? Many of the 22 County Councils in Wales are struggling to cover the payment of basic service provision. Rather than more administrators we need more money directed to front line workers.
