Wrexham Council have been awarded £500,000 to help reduce empty properties in the City Centre. This is at a time when the Senedd have decided not to match Business Rates support awarded in England. The substantial rise in rates paid by small businesses in Wrexham City Centre will see some cease trading creating even more empty buildings. Why not support those businesses who are already doing their best to keep the City Centre a commercial centre and provide jobs for local people ?
