Disclosure

In the interests of transparency and full disclosure for our readers & community we provide a link to this voluntary disclosure statement.

The aim of Wrexham.com is to provide a sustainable independent website for Wrexham, due to that we will provide advertising space amongst other things as a revenue source. This will not affect our independent reporting, nor influence what can and cannot be published or reported on the site.

One of the benefits of online media is that we do not have to bow to financial pressures of advertisers, as our running costs are very low. It also means we can mention when we have a relationship, as we are confident in what we do.

If you are reading this its likely you have clicked through after reading a story about one of our advertisers, which hopefully would stand up to being either news worthy, something quite cool locally, useful to local people or of benefit to Wrexhamites in its own right. This does not mean we have received payment for it, however we want to be open about what we do so as a result we publish to this page.

We do run features, competitions or promote special offers with local companies but when we do we work off the above critiera, as frankly we do not wish to publish junk and want to keep being relevant and useful for Wrexhamites.

Some things to note:

  • If we have reviewed somewhere or item, it is the authors viewpoint.
  • If you see a ‘google advert’ or ‘adchoices’ advert then they are ads selected and supplied by Google completely independently of Wrexham.com so we have no control over them, nor do we know what adverts you are being shown.
  • We do not run any ‘affiliate’ style links, so be confident when you click on a link its there for information only rather than us getting a referral fee.

If you would like to support Wrexham.com , then check out our advertising page or get in touch with us, or if you don’t like something we have done or have questions about this page or anything todo with the site you can get in touch directly using this form.
