Ahead of ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ members of the public are being encouraged to support their local charity shop when looking for the perfect festive top this year.

December 7 will see a rash of festive colour sweep over the UK as the nation embraces national Christmas Jumper Day 2023.

As workplaces, schools and colleges prepare to don their finest seasonal attire, Hope House Tŷ Gobaith children’s hospices are getting in on the fun and have plenty of humorous and traditional yuletide jerseys in stock across all their stores.

Retail Area Manager for Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith children’s hospices, Lindy Welch-Smart, said: “We love getting behind Christmas Jumper Day and we have a great selection in our shops.

“What better way to enjoy the festivities than supporting local families by purchasing your 2023 Christmas sweaters from one of our stores.

“Pop in to any of our shops and the staff will be happy to show you a selection of festive tops to wow your colleagues or family in.”

Officially hosted by Save The Children charity and started in 2012, the day has raised an impressive £35m so far and last year alone saw two million school children and 24,000 workplaces take part.
