A voluntary organisation is looking for people to help out with the running of their café at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

KIM, which provides support services for women, needs volunteers to assist at Café KIM in Wrexham Maelor’s Heddfan Unit.

They aim to give positive support to women through group work, courses, workshops, drop in’s and more.

Anyone is welcome to apply and training and support is provided along with the opportunity to gain a Food Hygiene Certificate and other catering qualifications in the future.

Travel expenses are refunded and it’s described as a great way to gain confidence, new skills and meet new people.

A member of the group said: “The café and shop could not run as successfully as it does without the support we receive from volunteers so if you are interested in finding out more, please contact Dawn at the office on 01352 872 189.”
