Labour have published a local manifesto ahead of the local council elections in 25 days time at an event on Queen’s Square at the weekend.

A spokesperson said, “Rain didn’t stop play this Saturday morning at a very successful launch of the Welsh Labour local Manifesto for Wrexham on Queens Square. Local Labour supporters joined Lesley Griffiths and Ken Skates, our Senedd Members and Dana Davies, Wrexham Labour Group Leader, who spoke of the urgent need for a Labour led Wrexham Council.

“Every five years we have the opportunity to explain to the electorate what we would change, what we would improve and what we would prioritise. These promises are detailed in our Manifesto.

“The local Labour Manifesto has six ambitious policy aims, alongside six promises of ‘More & Better’ service provision.”

“We recognise that to deliver these aims we need to win your trust, our Labour Candidates hope to meet as many of you as possible on the doorstep to listen to your views and concerns.”

“Change for Wrexham can only be secured with your support. We ask you to vote for your Welsh Labour Candidate on 5th May. Together we’re Securing Wrexham’s Future”

Copies of the manifesto published are below:

You can only take part in the May elections if you are registered to vote, and time is running out. It’s quick and easy – it takes just five minutes online at www.gov.uk/registertovote
