Two new independent businesses have set up shop in Wrexham so far this month – with a high street fashion retailer also set to open in the town centre.

At the start of the November, ‘Angels Hair, Beauty and Hair Extensions’ celebrated their grand opening on Church Street, Wrexham Town Centre.

The salon was officially opened by Salon owner Carly Loundes, Deputy Mayor & Mayoress Cllr Pritchard and Mrs Pritchard and local actor, former coronation street actor Iain Rogerson on November 3rd.

Following the sudden, sad loss of Carly’s mother earlier this year Carly and husband Stewart decided to act upon a shelved five year old business plan as it was made apparent life really is to short to wait any longer.

In just two months they have taken over there premises on Church Street, fully renovated and fitted and are now ready to welcome the public for the first time. Now following full refurbishment the salon is now fully open for all Hair & Beauty needs, also a full stock of Hair Extensions for sale and fitting.

A second business on the Felin Puleston estate on Ruabon Road also celebrated the grand opening of ‘Your Lifestyle Flooring’ last week. The business, which was launched by Tee Smith – who also started an ice cream van businesses three years ago, and will continue to do that along with his new venture!

Mr Smith described the opening of his new store as’ exciting times’, adding: “I’m passionate about our range of flooring, we’ve got the lot and I’m over the moon that we are now open.”

Along with the opening of two new independent businesses in Wrexham, work is also underway on the former BANK fashion store on Eagles Meadow – which is soon to become home to women’s clothing store ‘Roman Originals’.

The store on Eagles Meadow has been vacant since BANK fashion announced they had entered into administration, however work has been underway refitting the store over the past few weeks.

Details about the brand on the Roman Originals website read: “Since it was first established, Roman has developed a strong identity as a design led and fashion forward retailer. Our business is fast paced, exciting and aspirational, with our passion and enthusiasm reflected in the brand.

“The continual success of Roman is rooted in the company’s core principles: to offer affordable, timeless clothing with the help of impeccable personalised customer service.

“Our products embody ageless sophistication and style, for the customer that wants to feel special and get noticed, whatever the occasion.”
