In the early hours of this morning two pubs in Coedpoeth were subject to a suspected arson attack.

The Cross Foxes and Red Lion pubs, which are on near opposite sides of the High St had police and fire services called at 03:21.

The police have told us one person has been arrested in connection with the suspected arson.

North Wales Fire Service informed us that there was some internal damage to property but no injuries.

Wrexham.com took a trip up there this morning however all seemed quiet and returning to normal.

Its worth noting there are two Red Lion pubs in Coedpoeth and only one was subjected to the suspected arson attack.
