‘Strong Green Laser’ Seen Flashing Towards Sky

A bright light was seen pointed towards the sky over Wrexham last night, with local reports that a laser was being aimed at the sky.

Last night there were reports on social media of person / persons flashing a ‘strong green laser’ to the sky in the Brynteg area at around 10pm.

North Wales Police have since tweeted to say: “Thanks, we’ve made the helicopter crew aware. If you witness again please call us on 101. Thanks, NWP.”

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said if anyone has seen / sees anything similar happen in the area, then to please call 101.
