Stansty Bridge closes immediately for ‘urgent works’

Stansty Bridge has been closed with immediate effect this lunchtime.

Wrexham Council have said the move has been to “allow urgent works to take place”.

People are being asked to avoid the area.

There has been no official confirmation, however we understand the works revolve around gas utility services.

There has been no further update from Wrexham Council or related utility companies.
