Train users have experienced delays this afternoon after a vehicle struck a bridge.

The delays have been in place since around 5pm this afternoon, with a vehicle colliding with a bridge in the Hawarden area.

As a result there are delays for those travelling between Shotton and Wrexham General.

Buses operated by Pat’s Coaches are currently running in place of cancelled trains.
