A Wrexham technology company has been praised for its innovation after a visit from a local Member of the Senedd.

Ken Skates MS was invited to meet the leadership team at Micro Materials and hear more about the company, which in 2018 celebrated 30 years in nanomechanical industry.

All of Micro Materials’ research and manufacturing is carried out from their custom-built facility at Yale Business Village, which is also equipped with a demonstration suite.

Mr Skates said: “Micro Materials is a superb small business with a quite incredible global reach.

“The company is headquartered in Wrexham, but has support bases all over the world – including the US, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, China and India.

“Micro Materials is continually at the forefront of innovation, and its pioneering approach has led to numerous world firsts.

“It’s clear the company’s worldwide reputation is well-deserved.”
