Wrexham Council’s Chief Exec Dr Helen Paterson wrote to over five hundred voters in Gwersyllt East and South to apologise after errors were made on postal vote forms forcing a reprint. The council told Wrexham.com this morning “one candidates party logo was printed over another which may have caused confusion” so a new set of papers were printed.

The new set of voting papers will be printed on green paper, rather than the current white, to enable quick and easy differentiation.  Anyone who has already voted will need to re-vote and resend their postal votes in again as ones on white paper will not be counted.

The council have assured us that other voting papers have been checked and no errors were found.
