Missing Woman – Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Murder

UPDATE 9:55pm – A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in previously missing persons appeal.

North Wales Police have this evening arrested a man on suspicion of murder following the disappearance of a woman, Catherine Gowing, 38, from the New Brighton area of Flintshire.
As part of this investigation detectives are anxious to trace the whereabouts of a burgundy/purple coloured Renault Clio which was bearing an Irish registration plate 00D99970.
Anyone one with information about sightings or the whereabouts of this vehicle is asked to call North Wales Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

 

North Wales Police are appealing for information to help find a woman who has not been seen since last Friday.

Catherine Gowing, 38, was last seen by friends in Mold, Flintshire, at 8pm on Friday October 12, 2012.

Catherine is described as around 5ft 10 tall, of slim build and speaks with an Irish accent.

 

 

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen Catherine or has information about her whereabouts, or her vehicle, a purple Renault Clio with an Irish registration plate 00D99970, to contact them on 101.
