Police appeal after women suffers ‘serious injuries’ following ‘dog attack’ outside Rossett Park Industrial Estate

Police are ‘keen’ to trace the above vehicle in connection with an alleged dog attack in Rossett.
Local officers say at about 8.35pm on Sunday 24th July, a woman was walking her dog just outside Rossett Park Industrial Estate when two Mastiff type dogs (one being grey and the other Brindle in colour) charged at her.
They say the first attacked her dog and the second bit the victim several times to the leg causing serious injuries.
Police said, “The dogs were with a male and female. The female is described as about 5’5” with brown hair tied back, and the male is described as a similar height with dark hair. The pair walked off with the dogs before the male returned and picked up a pink phone.
“We are keen to trace the owners of a Dark Vauxhall Insignia Estate, similar to the one pictured below, as they may be able to assist in the investigation. Equally we are keen for anyone who may know of similar dogs to come forward.
“If you have any information that could assist our investigation, please contact us via our live webchat online or on 101 quoting Ref 22000533629” .
