Police are appealing for help in tracing tablets stolen from a lorry in Wrexham.

At 5am yesterday staff at a haulage firm on Clywedog Road South on the Wrexham Industrial Estate reported that a lorry had been broken into and two and a half pallets containing the painkiller ibuprofen had been stolen.

Wrexham Rural Inspector Paul Jones said: “We would like to make the public aware that these tablets have been stolen and would also urge people only to buy medicines from legitimate outlets such as chemists, convenience stores and supermarkets.

“If anyone has information about the theft please call North Wales Police on 101.”
