The North Wales Police Open Day planned for September 12th has been postponed due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

The popular event was due to be held on the grounds of Police Headquarters, Colwyn Bay in September however this will now be rescheduled for 2021.

Chief Constable Carl Foulkes said: “Our Open Day is one of the highlights of the calendar for us and, based on past attendance levels, is for our local communities too.

“A great deal of planning involving ourselves and partners goes into it, so to postpone the event has not been a decision that was taken lightly but has been done for the safety of everyone.

“We appreciate many will be disappointed, however all being well we will re-schedule for 2021 and we will look forward to welcoming visitors back to a bigger and better event.”
