Two separate appeals for information have been launched after a number of items were stolen from homes in Wrexham.

Overnight on February 20th and 21st, thieves stole building materials from a house in Maesgwyn Road.

Tubes of silicone and foam, copper piping, a Bosch grinder, window bolts and handle, a spirit level and Fat Max hammer were all stolen.

Anyone with information is advised to call the police on 101 referencing RC14026356.

Last night thieves stole 16 grey paving slabs from the garden of a home in Boston Gate Wrexham.

North Wales Police have said it would have taken at least two people to carry them and a vehicle to transport them.

Anyone with information is advised to call the police on 101 referencing RC14026365.

A motorist was also arrested last night after failing to stop for police.

Last night a number of people contacted us via Twitter regarding police activity on Stansty Lane.

There were reports shortly after 9pm that the road had been closed off by officers, however when we popped down just before 10pm the incident had ended.
