A new cafe and deli is getting ready to welcome customers through its doors for the first time.

To^st (toast), owned by husband and wife team Claire and Paul Wright, will open at its new home on Charles Street on Thursday 23 June.

The couple have lived in Wrexham their whole lives and it was their passion in local produce that inspired them to open the new venue in the heart of the town centre.

As well as selling local produce, to^st will also be selling foods such as homemade soup and mac and cheese for customers to enjoy.

Claire said: “We have lived in Wrexham our whole lives and we have been finding it harder to buy wonderful produce from our own country.

“The markets have all but gone in the last decade and we are passionate about showcasing and promoting Welsh produce and supporting the local economy.

“Our new cafe and deli will be a welcome addition to Wrexham Town Centre and we look forward to welcoming the local community and visitors to Wrexham.

“We aim to offer a range of menu items both to eat in or take away, and are specialising in local, seasonal produce with menu items such as grilled cheese sandwiches, homemade soups and mac n cheese.

“We are also aiming to support other small, local businesses by using some of their produce in our menu items and in the deli section. We will soon be introducing seasonal menu items which will be posted on our social media accounts.”

to^st (toast) cafe and deli opens it doors on Thursday 23rd June and will be open Tuesday to Saturday from 8am to 3pm.
