Mystery Tyre Marks In Town Centre Carpark

We were contacted over the weekend with reports of ‘boy racers’ around town, specifically on Salop Road and  Smithfield Road around Eagles Meadow direction. The following day the lower level carpark in Eagles Meadow, run by Vinci Parking not Eagles Meadow themselves, had a mysterious collection of tyre marks weaving in and around the car park – at some points very close to the steel pillars.

A VINCI Park UK spokesperson told us “We do not condone this behaviour and we are investigating this incident to see what additional measures can put into place to avoid this happening in the future“.

We popped down and took these pictures showing how the tyre tracks cross over around all areas of the lower the carpark:
