Man Left With Serious Head Injury After Hightown Attack

Police are appealing for information following a serious assault in Hightown last night.

A man in his 40’s was assaulted by three other males in Bryn y Cabanau park shortly before 10.30pm.

Police say he sustained a serious, but not life threatening head injury and is currently being treated in hospital.

The offenders made off with the victim’s phone and a quantity of cash.

Anyone with information which may assist the police investigation is asked to call police on 101 quoting crime reference S057875.

The police helicopter was overhead earlier today, with the park sealed off by police as of this morning.
