More than 900 ladies wearing flashing pink bunny ears and tutus put their best foot forward to raise money for Nightingale House Hospice on Saturday night raising £90,000 in the process.

The annual Ladies Midnight Walk saw hundreds of women join forces to raise money for the hospice which provides specialist palliative care services, completely free-of-charge, to patients and their families across a large part of North Wales.

This year the route was changed to 6.5 miles to enable as many ladies to take part as possible, many of whom have family members or loved ones who have received care at the hospice.

As always proceedings began from Llwyn Isaf outside the Guildhall and were kicked off by Mayor of Wrexham Cllr Ian Roberts who also donned a pair of pink bunny ears.

Event organisers praised the large turn out and called the amount raised “stunning”.

Those taking part were invited to pay tribute to their loved ones on the Ladies Midnight Walk Memory Wall.

Katie Hughes got in contact with us to say: “Fantastic time @wrexham midnight walk, completed in 1 hour 55 and raised £292 for a great cause WELL DONE LADIES xx”

Above and below are some pictures from the walk taken by Nightingale House Hospice.
