Huge thunderstorm hits Wrexham area

Wrexham was hit by a huge thunderstorm late on Wednesday evening through to Thursday morning, with several strikes starting close to Chirk and moving north.

Below is a quick selection of the deluge of tweets about the thunder and lightning that hit the area… thanks to Nick Burdon for the picture above.

There was rumours about an earthquake, with the relevant tweets embedded at the bottom of this page.
