There are reports currently circulating online regarding a herd of cows that appear to have escaped and are currently on the A483.

Shortly after 6pm this evening a number of people contacted us regarding a herd of cows that had been spotted on the A483 slip road at Rossett.

Natalie Edwards said: “Cows on A483 Chester to Wrexham just before Rossett turn off” while David added: “Cows on A483 just before J7 Rossett.”

Craig Jones also tweeted Wrexham.com to say: “Just driven south on A483 towards Wrexham. A herd of cows has escaped and a few are on the hard shoulder near Rossett slip road.”

Thanks to Tony Gresty for sending us the above photo!

Will update with more information as and when we have it…
