Fireball In The Skies Over Wrexham

A fireball was seen over the skies of Wrexham last night, with many similar reports across the North of England and Ireland.

The below video was captured in Dublin of the same material burning up in the atmosphere that was sighted in Wrexham:

El Monty tweeted us @wrexham asking: “Anyone else seen the bright light invite sky towards Brynteg Brymbo area low ish in the sky?”

David Ashley Jones said: “I saw what I would describe as a cross between a huge firework and a shooting star glowing green in Chirk”

@namesonstones told Deeside.com “Saw it in Sychdyn. Glanced up from sofa. Curtains were open and through window this thing zoomed across night sky.”

Back in January 2013 the top picture was taken of a large piece of ‘space junk’ burning up over the area, with the largest one we have recorded taking place in 2012. The video of the 2012 burn up is below, with no further videos surfacing of last nights event:
