Fire Crews Tackle Car Fire in Gwersyllt

Fire crews are currently tackling a vehicle fire on a country lane in Gwersyllt.

Earlier this evening thick black smoke was seen near the country park with emergency services seen in the area.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were called to a vehicle fire on Mold Road, near Alyn Waters at 7:48pm this evening.

One crew from Wrexham is currently tackling the blaze with one breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
