Fire crews were called to a fire at a house in Little Acton this evening.

Two fire engines and a fire service car were seen rushing to the scene on Windermere Road at around 7pm by Sian Parry (@sian_louise_17).

The blaze was soon brought under control but looked to have caused considerable damage to the upstairs of the property.

A police car later attended the scene.

At present the cause of the fire is unknown.
