A music festival which brings together some of the best emerging talent in the music industry and attracts thousands of visitors to Wrexham is to return to the town next year.

Dates for FOCUS Wales 2016 have been announced, with the multi-venue festival due to take place in Wrexham from the 12th-14th May.

Although acts for next year’s festival have yet to be announced, early bird tickets are now on sale at the special rate of £30 via MusicGlue, for a limited time only.

FOCUS Wales is an annual festival which takes place in Wrexham each spring, which places the music industry spotlight firmly on the emerging talent that Wales has to offer the world. FOCUS Wales 2016 will mark the festival’s 6th edition, and will welcome over 5,000 people to the town, building upon 2015′s record attendance across a jam-packed weekend of events.

Across the three day festival over 200 bands will perform across a variety of venues in Wrexham, along with a host of stand-up comedy, interactive sessions and panels.

FOCUS Wales 2015 saw Bo Ningen, Slaves, Future of the Left, and Eagulls amongst over 160 other performers take to various stages across Wrexham, attracting over 4000 people to the town.

The 2016 line-up will be announced in November on the FOCUS Wales website and promises to be the best yet, with bigger headline names, comedians, and keynote speakers, plus film screenings, art exhibitions, and family events.

Applications to play at FOCUS Wales 2016 are now open via the FOCUS Wales and MusicGlue websites.

Eary-bird festival tickets grant access to all FOCUS Wales live performances, interactive sessions and panels, workshops, comedy shows and film screenings. Tickets are on sale now on the FOCUS Wales website.
