Local vets ‘Vets4Pets’ have reported that they had a dog brought in on Tuesday – which was found in a bin bag put in a hedge near B&Q.

They said “Inside the bag was this emaciated dog, barely alive. On examination, she was so cold, her temperature didn’t register on our thermometer.”

“After some immediate treatment, care and attention, the first thing she did was wag her tail. So ‘Barbara’ is now being treated and living here at Vets4Pets. The RSPCA are trying to find who here owners were. Barbara is only about 7 months old, and we hope that she continues to improve here.”
