Concerns have been raised for the welfare of an 18 year old man from Mold who went missing after a Christmas works party at Carden Park near Chester.

Haydn Mark Evans was last seen outside the front of the hotel at 1am on Saturday and has not been heard from in over 24 hours, which his family said was out of character.

Cheshire Police have issued an appeal for any information regarding his whereabouts and, along with the extremely cold weather over Saturday night, are concerned that he may have become disorientated in the unfamiliar surroundings.

Haydn is 5ft 9″ and of slim build with short brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark long sleeved shirt and trousers and did not have a coat or jacket with him.

Police are appealing for anyone who owns land around the hotel to check any empty buildings such as outhouses and barns in case he decided to take shelter from the cold weather.

They are also asking anyone who was driving on the A41 Whitchurch road or the A534 to Wrexham in the early hours of Saturday to come forward if they saw anyone matching Haydn’s description.

Taxi drivers who may have taken a fare from anyone matching his description have also been asked to come forward as well as anyone out walking near the hotel on Saturday.

Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police by calling 101.
