City Status straw poll – (closed)

Today we are running a poll that is asking a straight question over city status.

On the 9th of November Wrexham Council will make a decision on if to make a bid for city status and could submit the bid on December 8th.

Since highlighting the official public consultation (do take part in that as well!) into city status and more, we have had an unusual number of people in touch asking us to run a poll – so here it is:

POLLING HAS NOW CLOSED THANKS FOR TAKING PART

As usual the result will be very an unscientific sample of Wrexham.com readers thoughts, and polls such of these are lacking the segmentation and pre-qualification elements of ‘proper’ polls so treat it accordingly. The audience is in theory the self selecting readership relevant to the Wrexham area.

Voting is anonymous and is not tracked, with overall results published in the very near future.

You can read more on the official consultation and details that have been put into the public domain here.
