Brymbo Suffers Four Vehicle Break Ins Overnight

Police are urging Wrexham motorists to keep their cars locked following a recent spate of vehicle break ins.

Thieves broke into four vehicles overnight in Brymbo between Thursday and Friday last week.

Two vehicles were broken into Stryd Sheppard, one in Wellman Avenue and one in Charles Street.

In each of the incidents the vehicles had been left unlocked with thieves escaping with a haul of tools, laptops, satnavs and phones.

Brymbo has experienced 23 incidents of vehicle crime since December last year according to .

Additionally North Wales Police recorded 1512 incidents of vehicle crime across North Wales between December 2010 and July 2011 according to UK Crime Stats.

Figures peaked in July with a total of 218 and December saw the lowest level with 137.
