Body of a man found at canal in Chirk

Police have confirmed that the body of a man was found at the canal in Chirk on the weekend.

A spokesperson for North Wales said they were called to the scene just before midday on Sunday.

The spokesperson added: “We were called at 11.55am January 10 to reports of a body of a man was sadly found at the canal in Chirk.”
